Account and access controls

Verify your account email, recover or change your password, update your email and delete your account. Public inboxes and account-owned inboxes have different access rules.

Open account settings

Start simply. Add what you need.

An account, a plan and API credits serve different purposes. Here is how they fit together.

Without an account

Try an instant inbox and browser tools. Keep track of the access and expiry rules for the mode you choose.

With a free account

Save supported inboxes and notes, return on other devices, and use account features within the free limits.

With a paid plan or API credits

Choose higher allowances and eligible bulk or automation features. API credits pay for supported operations; a plan and a credit balance are separate.

Mailbox lifetime, stored-message retention and access duration are different. They depend on the inbox mode, plan and domain. Check current limits before relying on an address for an ongoing project.

Questions about Boomlify features

Practical answers before you choose an inbox or connect a workflow.

Can I use temporary email without signing up?

Yes. The instant inbox lets you generate an address and receive mail without an account. Save Inbox can carry supported guest inboxes and notes into an account when you want to keep using them.

How long do Boomlify inboxes and messages last?

Lifetime depends on the mode and plan. Public Instant and Advanced inbox creation uses 48 hours; registered Free inboxes default to 60 days, most standard paid plans to 90 days and Elite to 240 days, subject to domain expiry. Guest sessions and stored-message retention have separate limits. An API option labelled permanent currently expires after 60 days.

Are all temporary inboxes private?

No. Public inboxes and account-owned inboxes use different access models. A temporary address helps you avoid sharing your main email, but it is not a guarantee of anonymity or end-to-end encryption. Choose the appropriate access mode and read the privacy policy.

Can I send or reply to external email?

Current compose sends between supported Boomlify inboxes. It is not a general outgoing email service and does not send or reply to arbitrary external addresses.

Does a Gmail alias include a Google account and password?

No. A Gmail-based receiving alias is not a separate Google account. Alias availability, expiry and renewal depend on the configured service; do not assume it is a permanent Gmail account.

Can I use my own domain for temporary email?

Yes. Add a domain or subdomain you own, follow the MX setup instructions and verify it. Domain counts and mailbox allowances depend on your plan. A custom domain does not guarantee acceptance by every website.

What gets forwarded to Telegram?

After linking Telegram and enabling an inbox, incoming messages can send the sender, subject, recipient, time and a readable body preview. This is not a full email archive. Paid accounts have eligible bulk forwarding controls.

How does email translation work?

The reader sends the subject and visible message text to Google Translate when translation is requested or enabled automatically. You can choose a supported target language and return to the original. Do not treat this as entirely local processing.

Which API operations use credits?

Costs vary by operation and inbox type. Creating inboxes and certain dashboard or longer-lived inbox operations can use credits. Check the API documentation, usage panel and current billing rules before estimating a workflow.

Can I collect mail sent before creating an inbox?

Eligible paid users can set up pre-receive sender allowlists and claim captured messages within 24 hours, including for a list of addresses. This feature does not retain attachments and is subject to capture and ownership rules.
